Since our founding more than a century and a half ago, Abramson Senior Care has continued to fulfill its mission as a safety net to frail seniors in need – both within and outside the Jewish community.
Deeply rooted in the traditional Jewish value of honoring our mothers and fathers, our mission ensures our older loved ones have the opportunity to age with dignity, independence, and choice.
Abramson has evolved to meet the needs of seniors who may have fallen through the cracks in a fragmented healthcare system. Reduced government funding for nursing home care has left most low-income seniors to navigate chronic health conditions and cognitive decline on their own, often facing tremendous challenges accessing needed healthcare services and psychosocial supports.
Reimbursement for Care Management is very limited – your philanthropic support helps us continue serving as a safety net for this population, and to help ensure that no one must face the challenges of aging alone.
